The U.S. green-energy market is entering a decade of accelerated expansion, driven by structural cost declines, long-term federal incentives, and rapidly growing corporate procurement. Utility-scale solar and onshore wind remain the backbone of new capacity additions, while battery storage and green hydrogen represent the next major wave of growth.[^1]
Renewable energy costs have fallen to historic lows, with utility-scale solar now the cheapest form of new electricity generation in most U.S. regions.
